About the event
Ideal for those dancers with at least 3 years’ experience wanting to work on the more dynamic elements of classical ballet centre work, like turning and jumping.
The workshop will begin with a short barre to warm up.
We will learn the importance of preparation and the required spotting technique for successful pirouettes both in the centre and en diagonale, followed by a small selection of petit allegro with a main focus on Grand Allegro.
TDMS Dance Studio has mirrors which really accelerate understanding and help with the learning process.
The workshop will finish with a short stretch and relaxation.
