About the event
This workshop is open to everyone. No previous dance experience required.
We will start with a short warm-up, followed by learning the choreography as a group.
The VIBE will be sultry, energetic, and darkly glamorous.
The SETTING is the roaring Jazz Age of Chicago, introducing the cynical, thrilling world of crime, fame, and media frenzy.
The STYLE is famous for its sharp, stylised Bob Fosse choreography, featuring jazz hands, bowler hats, and precise isolation movements.
Feel free to really go for it in the 1920s cabaret or flapper style. I certainly will be.
